Help me put the pieces together. Where should I stop along the way? Any places I must see? So far my escape plan checklist includes: save up $$, transfer job or find new one, find somewhere to live, move away, be happy.
I know it's super far, but I need to travel a bit...see the country at least. A position just opened in Portland at one of my bank's branches so I thought I'd give it a shot and apply. We'll see what happens! I have someone to drive with me and somewhere to stay while I get settled in soo at less I'm not completely blind, haha.
woah woah woah, what a big move! how exciting! i wish you the best of luck, as always! and i heard that youngstown is a great place to visit... well not really at all, but i'm just saying... :)
Portland's awesome. I definitely recommend it, having lived there myself. I'm in school now, but once I'm out and job-hunting again, I've been debating moving back to Portland or trying my luck out there in NYC! It sounds super expensive though, so we'll see how that goes.
Portland is sooooo far away!
ReplyDeleteMy friend lived there for a year and couldn't find a job, so if you can, secure one before you get there for sure!
Definitely stop in Cleveland and eat at Melt!

ReplyDeleteYou should go WAY south and say hi to me! I have a couple friends in Portland. You should look them up! They are really nice ladies.
